Nabbit™ Now Available In Facebook

Popular service for tagging radio content is now available as a native Facebook application.

Eagan, MN., October 27, 2008—Jump Technologies, Inc (JumpTech™) creators of Nabbit, debuted the Nabbit Facebook application today. Facebook users now have the ability to Nabb music and advertising from their favorite radio stations and share it with their Facebook friends. Nabbit is a free application for consumers that provides links from Nabbed songs to music downloads, concert information, song lyrics, ring tones and more. Participating Nabbit advertisers create special promotional offerings that can be Nabbed from the radio, providing financial savings for Nabbit users. Nabbit makes its money from fees paid by these advertisers.

The application was created in an effort to make it easier for Facebook users to use Nabbit in an environment they are comfortable with as well as add a social component to the Nabbit service. Nabbit provides users with the ability to Nabb music on thousands of radio stations across the country from within Facebook and add these songs to their own online libraries. Keeping in touch with the social aspect of Facebook, Nabbit allows users the option to share their music and Nabb songs from their friends’ libraries.

Nabbit’s new application is also being marketed as a tool to connect college students to their hometown radio stations. Anyone using Nabbit in Facebook can select their favorite radio station in their hometown. Nabbit will display the playlist of that radio station and with the click of a mouse, the user can Nabb the song and save the song information in their Nabbit account in Facebook. The song information is shared with the user’s friends inside of Facebook, serving as a great way for Facebook users to discover new music online.

Nabbit users can also use their mobile phones to Nabb content they are listening to on the radio. When they hear a song or an ad they want to Nabb they can text in the radio station call letters or select the station either from Nabbit’s mobile Web site or using the native Nabbit java application on their phone. Through a partnership with Jott, users also have the option to dial a toll free number and speak the call letters of the station to Nabb their content.
